Thank you

It is disheartening to forget that the two people who we call our parents are also human beings who are experiencing life just like us. From not knowing the ABCs of parenting to raising incredible kids by guiding them every step so that they can make a future of their own. 

They make it look so easy that I feel like I can raise 10 kids on my own while I can't even control my younger sister without their help.  As I grow older, I realize how many sacrifices they have made just to keep a smile on our faces, all the hardship I have given them and they did not rebel once, all the bruises they hide inside themselves, do you ever wonder where this much strength comes from because I start crying from a small paper cut so imagine their pain 

From getting annoyed as my mom calls my name to do some work to hearing her voice in the empty house abroad, from showing his love by buying me whatever I want and getting a dozen of fruit boxes just because I liked them once to buying my own fruits, I forgot to be grateful of them and the small things that they have done for me by taking everything for granted.

Somewhere between then and now, it went from, "Mom, please stop telling me what to do!" to "Mom, please tell me what to do"

Somewhere between then and now, it went from, "Dad, please stop asking me so many question!" to "Dad, I have so many questions" 

From dreaming of living alone to counting down my days of when I can finally go back home! I don't think I will ever be prepared to leave them as they are what makes the house... Home! 

ya guys, I'm taking my parents with me when I get married like a small child holding her parents finger as they drop her to school.  I don't think I will ever be old enough to stop holding on my dad's fingers. 

Somewhere between then and now, I have realized that the other half of my heart were always the people who created it in the first place.
