Little things

 It has always been the small things that mattered 

moments that go unnoticed by everyone's eyes

times where my heart sparks and butterflies make my stomach feel things I've never felt...

the small gestures that would make me love you more and more everyday

the first video call you would make as soon as you get up just to say good morning, 

noticing my hair even if I just trimmed it a lil bit 

or when my mom brings fruits cut in squares cuz I've been busy all day 

holding my hand in front of all your friends 

keeping your hand on the corner of the table just so my head won't hit it 

listening to me rant about the people you don't even know exists even if you had a busy day

hugging me tightly when small inconveniences occur in my life cuz you know it will make me tear up 

complimenting me on my small achievements that go through my head

or just laying in my mom's lap while she watches T.V

you stroking my hair while we watch TV. 

attaching little love notes because you know it puts a bright smile on my face

plucking pretty flowers on a normal walk anywhere we go just to remind me of your love

I mean isn't it the little things that keeps the love strong and keeps the relationship going 

even if it's a small compliment or a kiss on the forehead out of no where is what brightens one dark day

its the little things that make life worth living 

which reminds us that at the end of the day there is always something to look forward too

it gives us hope that there is goodness and rises our standards for love above the chart 

it's the little things that keeps us intrigued

it's the little thing that solidify the relationship
